Visit to the Sheffield Fire Museum

In February, Year 5 visited Sheffield Fire Museum as part of their learning about the Great Fire of London. We investigated old and modern ways of putting out fires and had the opportunity to dress up as firemen from different periods in history. In character we explored various role play situations and were allowed to develop them within fire engines from different eras, exploring how the fire service had changed throughout the years.
