On Wednesday the 27th of February 2013 a group of our children took part in the sports hall athletics partnership final.
This took place at the Rotherham Leisure Centre. We were joined by 4 other local Rotherham schools, eager to join in with the activities and equally raring to go! After quite a close finish, we managed to seal our victory!
The children all gave their very best and because of their amazing win, they are now looking forward to competing at the South Yorkshire School Games at the Institute of Sport in Sheffield on Tuesday the 12th of March.
The team will also be joining the under 9 basketball team, who are also competing with the best of South Yorkshire!
Well done Team Herringthorpe – 5th in the whole of South Yorkshire and 1st in Rotherham – wow impressive! I’m very proud of you all. xxx
