The Woodles

An exciting project to improve writing through the use of animation.

A group of talented authors were put together to create stories for younger children based on woodland creatures. Our woodland characters were named the Magics, a group of fairies who live among the trees. After careful consideration it was agreed that the story we would put forward was a story written by Sam Lancashire, a wonderful story about a race.

After selecting the story the children went to Rawmarsh CLC to bring the story to life through the use of animation and story telling. The children had a wonderful day and are looking forward to seeing their finished animation, which will be shared at the children’s festival later on in the year.
