Roscars 2013

Thursday the 4th of July, a day for celebrations, and Herringthorpe Juniors did just that!
Groups of our children, who were involved in making a short animation or film clip, were invited to the New York Stadium to be part of the Roscars award ceremony. The children were dressed in their formal wear and looked absolutely amazing!
Many different schools from around the Rotherham Borough were in attendance and the stadium was brimming with excitement.
It was with anticipation that our children, and staff, waited to see where we had come in the competition!
We had amazing results!
In the Year 3 animation category, we were  proud winners with a wonderful entry called ‘The Boon Mee Story!’
Year 4 also won the animation category with their ‘World of Enterprise’ entry,
Year 5 were runners up with their film ‘Mineshaft’ and Year 6 were also runners up with their emotional entry ‘WWII’

Take a look at our fantastic entries!
