On Wednesday the 17th of July 2013, groups of children were taken on a tour around our new build site. Donning hard hats, high visibility jackets and wellingtons our children experienced a snippet of what day to day life is like working on a live building site.

Noisy, loud and exciting are just a few of the words our children used to describe the atmosphere of the site! Their tour began with a look  around the new classrooms themselves, learning how the sprinkler system works and how the wiring, that makes everything happen, all connects together.

The children also had the chance to have a go at building their own brick wall with real bricks and mortar! Overall, a fantastic experience our children won’t forget and in years to come, when the development is finished, they can proudly say ‘I remember what it looked like long before it was finished’
