On Tuesday the 10th of December the Enterprise champions went to The Orient Express in Rotherham to prepare and make a four course meal that would feed 75 guests. The children had worked extremely hard to prepare for the event, setting the school up as a restaurant and becoming waiters and waitresses for the evening. On arrival at the restaurant the children learnt about Indian cuisine and how to run a restaurant, thinking about the temperatures of the fridges and freezers, health and safety and how to prepare a selection of Indian dishes. The children really enjoyed the experience and we would like to thank Mr Choudhrey and his staff for all their help and support in preparing the food and letting us use the restaurant facilities. From the event we managed to raise over £100 for Rotherham Hospice and the children showed excellent entrepreneurial skills throughout.
