We have had a fantastisch day! The day started with an extract from ‘A Candle in the Dark’ – a story about Jewish children being evacuated in Germany. In numeracy we learnt how to say numbers to twenty, to reinforce our learning we played noughts and crosses and a number memory game. While this was happening, a group of children worked with Mrs Morris making our friendship cake, ‘Herman’. During the afternoon, we sampled our baking and practised our songs for our performance in special mentions assembly.
I had a great time on Lange day. My favourite part was when we had our German cake . It was alright.
