In literacy this week we have been looking at different kinds of poetry.
Today the children were given one word, per table, relating to the weather. They were the allocated ten minutes to record as many words as possible associated with their given climate.
Concentrating on two poem styles, Haiku and Cinquain, the children created their very own poems using the words that they generated perviously.
