World Book Day
On Friday, 7th March, 2014 we celebrated World Book Day which is about attracting the children’s attention and highlighting just how much fun reading can be, encouraging them to explore the pleasures of reading. Did you know that just 10 minutes of reading a day can make a dramatic difference on children’s educational development? Children and staff were invited to dress up as a character from their class topic book for the day. We had some amazing transformations, from owls to Oompa Lumpa’s, animals to young WW2 children.
Everyone made such a wonderful effort! Thank you to everyone who attended our assembly.
