On Thursday the 10th of April Y4G were extremely lucky to have a group of Environmental Scientists from Sheffield Hallam to come and deliver two workshops based on Food Miles. Looking at the journey food takes from other countries around the world. The children were able to learn about the benefits of home grown food on the environment. Workshop two was based on biomes looking at different places and climates. Identifying plants and animals in a variety of environments. The children had a wonderful morning we hope you take the time to look at the photographs which show all the learning that has taken place.
We would like to personally thank Sheffield Hallam and all the people involved for making the morning such a success.
