We have been feeling very Autumnal in year 3 today, maybe because the weather has become a little chilly lately! After looking at the different colours on some leaves we collected, we could see that there is a mixture of primary and secondary colours, they aren’t just green and brown!!

First we looked at different leaf shapes and talked about which tree they came from. We then drew this shape carefully on our paper before starting our collage! Next, we identified the colours we needed in all of the magazines and paint examples, then used the scissors safely to cut them out!

We can’t wait to see how our finished collages will look!!!
