This week, to support our learning of addition using a number line, we showcased our learning in different ways. One of these ways was by using ‘Graffiti Maths’.
This is where we wrapped up the tables in large paper and solved money problems by writing onto the tables.
We were all FANTASTIC at working as a team and finding new problems around the classroom, as well as developing resilience and mathematical thinking when the problems required us to work out two separate steps!
Some of us even hunted for word problems all around the school grounds and found money clues to help us understand the number line strategy!
