This morning, we went on an exciting walk to Herringthorpe Valley Park to complete a tree trail.
Together we completed some really interesting activities where we used keys to identify trees and learnt lots of new words to help us describe what different trees are like.
After a tiring walk back to school, we carefully sketched some of the leaves we collected on the tree trail, using different tones and shading in our drawings.
We made sure that we took some time at the end to admire our friends learning in an art exhibition and we were able to use the new descriptive
words we had learned to give feedback.
Miss Towell and Mrs Carver were really impressed with our knowledge.
Everyone looks like we have lovely time at winerhill and they have being going in a garden and there was lots of flowers and we had to see which kind of flower they like best .🚶
Looks like you all had a really good time 🙂 Lovely pictures of leaves too
