Bike It Family Learning Event!!

Despite the intense torrential downpour, myself, Mrs Forshaw, 12 pupils plus their family members, managed to have a brilliant afternoon at Clifton Park today. Everyone completed the trail around the park, which required an eagle eye, careful map reading skills and lots of teamwork! Resilience was also essential for this part…the rain made it very tricky, but no one give up!! After the families solved the puzzle, we all gathered back at the bandstand for some cycle training games hosted by Will from Sustrans, which tested mine and the children’s skill and technique!! Safe to say they were much better than me!!

A huge thank you to all the enthusiastic children and their families, and also the Bike It team for assisting us with such a fantastic event!!

  1. A huge thank you to Miss Brewin, Mrs Forshaw, Will and Natalie for a fabulous family learning event. It looks like the children had a great time even in the rain! Thank you to the parents for taking time out to share this experience with your children.
