As part of the Y3 topic about the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages we started our own settlement at school by growing vegetables. We have continued with this as we start to learn about the Rainforest. In July we hope to be able to cook our fruit and veg to make some healthy meals.

Year 4 have been helping children in year 3 because they know a lot about growing plants. We have been working together to plant, water and weed the vegetable patches. We have planted carrots, strawberries, peas, onions and potatoes. We can’t wait for harvest!
