The children in Year 5 were set the challenge to make a balloon rocket travel along a piece of string. The air rushes through the balloon and creates a thrust making the balloon travel along the string. They worked in groups of three and had a £5.00 budget to create their rocket having to purchase glue, scissors and card. The children were very enterprising realising that two teams could share resources and save money.
