This afternoon we held our Year 6 leavers assembly, to say goodbye to the Year 6 children who are leaving very soon!
Even though this was quite a sad occasion and we will miss our Year 6 children lots, the assembly was also a momentous one for both staff and pupils as it was also a chance for the children to share their thoughts and feelings about their school life at Herringthorpe Juniors to the rest of the school.
Trophies and certificates were handed out to individuals for different achievements. Please watch the video below so you can see each child receive their very special award!
On behalf of all the staff at Herringthorpe Juniors. We would like to say a huge thank you and good luck to each and every one of you who are about to embark on a new and exciting learning adventure as you leave for your new Comprehensive Schools.

I am so sad that I won’t see some of you Year 6 again at Herringthorpe but just want to say good luck with everything and best wishes for the future, we will miss you all!! I remember teaching some of you in Year 3 and time has passed so quickly!! Hope you all have a happy and successful time in your new schools!!
