Year 5 Shakespeare Festival 2015

On Friday 19th July 2015 all our Year 5 children and some Year 4 children set off to Magna to perform Romeo and Juliet in front of family and friends.

The children have been practicing their acts, in school, for more than 2 months! So much hard-work, effort and determination has gone into perfecting their lines and amazing acting skills!

But as you know hard work deserves a well deserved break and that’s just what our Year 5’s had during break times and lunch times throughout the day. They were lucky enough to be allowed in the Magna play area to let of steam and really enjoy the various outdoor equipment on offer.

As the evening drew in the children were focused, settled and ready to put on the performance of their lives. Needless to say they were outstanding during their main performance, each act and individual really shone and showed some amazing talent! Even the Mayoress, who had been present for the performance, was blown away by the quality and skill of their acting!

CD’s will be available for purchase at a later date with photo and video footage.

These were taken by a professional photographer on the day.

Take a look at the photo’s of the wonderful day that I’m sure the children will remember for a very long time!
