On Tuesday, some of the Year 5 children went on an exciting visit to the Clifton Park Museum.
While some of the other Year 5’s were in Filey, Miss Snowden’s group were exploring our local area, and what a fantastic day we had!
First, we went on a fact finding mission around the museum to answer a series of questions about the park and it’s history.
We then had an autumnal walk around the park; looking at and photographing some of the significant places of interest, including the cenotaph, bandstand and fountains.
The children asked lots of questions and learnt lots of new things to share with their friends upon their return!
We had millions of fun here! The most exhausting bit was walking… I didn’t mind because walking keeps me healthy. This museum was full of mystery! We did quizzes, had a look around the museum and got to play in the park for 5 minutes! In Y4 was okay when I visited here but it’s even better in Y5!!Back in Y4, we also visited my most favorite museum Weston Park Museum. I liked it because it had Egyptian Mummies!
