Here are the questions we generated,

1. Why do some parents do child cruelty?
2. What makes you adopt a child?
3. Why do Matilda’s parents treat her brother better?
4. Why does her family make her fearful? 
5. Why do Matilda’s parents make her watch so much TV?

Question 4 was the question the children decided to discuss.
