Today in Literacy, the children have continued to learn how to accurately follow a set of instructions. Firstly, the children were given a very brief set of instructions for how to make a thaumatrope, a popular toy used in Victorian times. The children became annoyed and frustrated as the instructions were not accurate enough! After being given a much more detailed set of instructions, the children were able to independently make their thaumatrope’s. We have all learnt the importance of making our instructions accurate and clear!
