Science through the arts in Y5G

This afternoon the children were learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly – we chose to use a range of materials and ICT to understand how a butterfly is formed. As advanced insects, butterflies and moths have a “complete” life cycle. This means that there are four separate stages, each of which looks completely different and serves a different purpose in the life of the insect. As you can see the children made their own choices in how to present their learning.
