Light Bubbles Year 6

This term we have been learning about light in science. We have been looking at how white light is made up of all the colours in the colour spectrum. To see the colours which make up light we used big bubbles! The bubbles disperse the light and allow us to see the different colours which make it up.

You can also use a glass prism to disperse light. As well as this you can also see the beam of white light changing direction, the is called refraction.

  1. Wow amazing learning – I can’t believe you’re learning about refraction of light -did you see beautiful rainbows ? Try it next with some glass prisms.
So lucky Y6 – Mr Williams is an expert bubble maker!
