Today, we have been problem solving using our mathematical skills finding the mass of objects.
This was our problem:
Make 3 clay balls
Make sure 1 ball is half the mass of another Also ensure that the third ball of clay is the lightest and weighs between 60g and 100g The total mass of your 3 clay balls should be 500g First work out what each ball will weigh! Report the mass of each clay ball in more than one unit. |
I was lucky enough to visit you in this lesson Year 5 and I was very impressed. What a creative way to learn about weight and different units, all while solving a problem. You did a fantastic job. Well done!
