Problem Solving in Y5A

Today, we have been problem solving using our mathematical skills finding the mass of objects.

This was our problem:

Make 3 clay balls

Make sure 1 ball is half the mass of another

Also ensure that the third ball of clay is the lightest and weighs between 60g and 100g

The total mass of your 3 clay balls should be 500g

First work out what each ball will weigh!

Report the mass of each clay ball in more than one unit.
