Starlight Sleepover
On Thursday, 26th May the Year 5 children took part in Herringthorpe’s sleepover. They then had a visit from the Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society in the afternoon. After a busy day the children had lots of fun pitching tents and listened to a survival talk from the scouts. In the evening the gentlemen from the observatory came back to school at 9:30 a.m. to show the children the stars. Thank you to all the children who took part. Hope you enjoyed it!
