Lucy’s Praise Pod

Today we had an outstanding nomination for the praise pod for Lucy Gill Kimber in Y6G. Lucy informed me she was really excited to be finally coming to the praise pod, but at the same time felt really nervous and shaky. After a few words of reassurance and a little chat Lucy guessed she had been nominated by all Herringthorpe Junior staff. For her fantastic poem she wrote at home about her wonderful experiences throughout the years she has been with us.

All pupils and staff are extremely proud of Lucy especially Mrs Fearnley, Mrs Adams and her class teacher, Mrs Graham for Lucy’s outstanding achievements whilst attending HJS. Lucy told me that she wrote the poem as a thank you to all staff for helping her throughout the years as this is unfortunately Lucy’s last day with us today. We would all like to wish Lucy good luck for the great future ahead of her. It has been a pleasure to teach and work with such a caring and hardworking individual, carry on doing amazing well at Oakwood. Believe in yourself you can achieve anything. We will all miss you dearly at HJS!
