As part of our busy ‘book week’ this week, every class took part in a spelling bee. They had a series of words to learn linked to their class book. After finding the winner and most improved speller in each class, these children went head to head in their year group to find our finalists. 

In assembly today, the 4 finalists (one from each year group) and 4 most improved spellers competed against one another in front of the whole school to spell some exceptionally tricky words. What a brilliant job they all did – the teachers were amazed!
