We had a wonderful day visiting Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Waverley yesterday.
The children had the opportunity to explore a few of the buildings on the site, finding out some of the work carried out their and also have a look at some of the products made. All children showed excellent questioning skills and were all enthused by the opportunity to see science in the real world.
Also, the children worked in teams building self propelling lego cars – this was great fun! All showed great team work and communication skills and rose to the challenge of building their cars amazingly well.
