Whitby Residential.
At the beginning of November the Year 5 children went on an educational visit to Whitby. They visited Old Whitby, Whitby Abbey and St. Mary’s Church and the Lifeboat Museum. The weather was a bright but cold but the children had a fabulous time.
Year 3 – Farms.
The children in year 3 have been learning about why we need farms. As a reward for all their brilliant learning the children were invited, on Monday 7th November, to a wonderful farm restaurant event.
Remembrance Service.
On Friday, 11th November, 2016 Herringthorpe Junior and Infant school gathered together to remember the fallen.
The Remembrance service was held in the centre circle with children contributing to the service with prayers and poems. The children sang a song together called ‘we won’t forget’.
