This week is our friendship week and has given us lots to think about with what makes a good friend. As one of our activities we decided to think about key words and phrases that could describe a friend and what friends mean too us. The children shared some great ideas and clearly were drawing from personal experience on how being a friend made them feel and how their friends made them feel. To make this a perminant feature we chose to decorate a pebble that we could then give to our secret friend. There was a lot of love and care shown and the children enjoyed sharing their feelings.
