Today in Y5S we had our courtroom drama session linked to our science topic,

‘Should animals be kept in a zoo?’

After some careful discussion about which Disney films actually keep animals captive e.g  Dumbo and Aladdin, we thought about the survive and rights of those animals in relation to their habitat. 

After putting together a case for and against zoos we carried out our drama session. As you can see from the photos the children were very professional and presented their key facts and evidence to support their case. 

It is safe to say that all the children had extremely strong opinions on the question in court today.
