There’s been a murder!

15 children from years 3,4 and 5 had an exciting morning at Sheffield University solving a murder!

Mrs Smith had been found dead in her home the previous morning and the children were tasked with being forensic chemists to solve the case. They used Bunsen burners to identify different salts before working out which one had been put in Mrs Smiths salt shaker, they also had to study fingerprints to rule out suspects.
