What a wonderful day we’ve had today in Year 6!
The children worked exceptionally hard this week, in their KS2 SAT tests, and made all of us so incredibly proud that we decided to have a great big party to celebrate!
As we’d been learning about WWII already, it was fitting to link this with the anniversary of VE Day.
The children spent the morning creating bunting, banners, posters and flags to decorate the venue, as well as preparing traditional recipes like vegetable soup, stew and carrot cookies.
They then enjoyed trying all of the food they’d prepared and even had a little fizzy pop treat!

Well done Year 6!
