Year 5 parents, were treated to the amazing experience of Year 5 reading and performing examples of their Autumn Term, literacy learning. They listened to stories, poems and letters, which were inspired by The Highwayman, Tom’s Midnight Garden and Room 13, being read and performed by the Year 5 children. The parents also had to share their knowledge, as they were invited to join in a Figurative Language quiz. The final treat was a sneak preview of one of our Young Voices songs-Castle on the Hill, a song which also tells a story.
