Today has been a break through moment for the children in Y4 as they have worked alongside 1 local and 1 international ‘change-maker of tomorrow’ . The children have been putting their ideas into actions by using up-cycled materials to create a bag for life to help protect our world from being strangled by disposable plastic bags.

They have also had an insight into how denim jeans can be used as insulation for houses. The children had the opportunity to see and feel each stage of this process.

Tomorrow the children will be thinking about how their passion to help protect the planet can be passed on, further than the walls of our school.
