We used our Teamwork learning skills in Numeracy today. We researched the dimensions of an Anderson Shelter and a Morrison Shelter and converted this between centimetres and metres. Then, we headed outside and accurately drew the width and length of each one and used string to measure the height. It gave us a real insight into the actual size of the shelters – we were shocked at how small they were. After that, we went back to the classroom to complete scaled drawings of the shelters.
