World Book Day 2019 was off to a fantastic start with each class holding a Reading Breakfast. A calm start to the day as parents and children shared a simple breakfast and read a book together.

Throughout the day strange sounds were heard as Ring a Bell Read told us to stop what we were doing, wherever we were and read.

Can you spot the strange visitor we had in school. Looks like he enjoys a good book too!

The staff had a wonderful day too. Joining in, dressing up as their favourite character from a treasured book.

Finally, we ended World Book Day with a final assembly.

Thank you to everyone who joined in. Especially our wonderful, supportive parents. The children looked fab and had a great day celebrating books and reading.
