Live maths lesson all the way from Beamish

Today the Y6 children joined a live maths lesson from the Beamish cobbles. We took a step back into the 1940s to calculate maths problems linked to money, temperature, shape and weight. Converting between metric and imperial measures was a little challenging but we successfully cracked the code to reveal the secret message.
