As part of our science learning, Oakwood Comprehensive School recorded a live heart dissection for us to have the opportunity to see a real heart. The children could name all the different parts, talk about the journey of the blood through the heart and discuss the effects of exercise.

Some of us found it a bit gruesome, but equally fascinating!
