Year 5 have stepped into the shoes of astronomers today. We explored the historical misconceptionthat the Earth is at the centre of our universe and the Sun moves in the sky.

The children used scientific language expertly to explain how we know that it is actually the Earth which rotates on its own axis, therefore causing day and night.
