This week in Y5F we have been looking at the factors which can change how a substance dissolves. We planned our experiment and thought about which variables we would change in our tests. We decided to try and discover if the speed at which we stirred our solution of sugar and water would change the rate at which the sugar dissolved.
We discovered that it did not matter how slowly we stirred the solution, the sugar still dissolved at the same rate. We used our most scientific observation skills, methodical thinking and we drew conclusions based on the evidence that we found. brilliant work Y5!
