Our practical maths investigation is an introduction to our ‘Time’ topic, helping us to understand seconds, minutes and hours. We had to create a one minute timer that was as precise as we could make it in the one hour time slot given. We were allowed to make up to 3 adaptations to our equipment. We enjoyed comparing and reflecting on our learning, talking about how this could be adapted to create a 1 hour timer or other alternatives.
