๐ธ Y6 students delved into the captivating world of finch evolution. ๐ฆ By comparing how large and small beaks (aka pegs, tweezers) picked up various foods, they discovered the survival of the fittest firsthand. ๐ฟ๐ We had 20 seconds to compare how much food we could move using the different beaks. Across the room we had conclusive results: large, flat beaks were more adept at picking up seeds, offering greater chances of survival. ๐ฑ
