We aim to teach children the core British Values across the curriculum in order for enable all pupils to thrive in our academy. [Focus 4 2018/19]
We have developed our curriculum to make our teaching of the British Values high priority through our daily teaching and learning. Through this learning blog you will see that the key British Values are taught and celebrated through all subject areas as well as through visits, residentials, assemblies and special visitors.
The key British Values taught through our curriculum include:
Democracy
Individual liberty
Rule of law
Mutual respect
Tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs
