As part of our contribution to the local ‘Picture This’ project, we have been weaving to create a piece of work in the style of a famous artist.
After exploring the idea of circuits and the components that can be used, Y4B worked in groups to build their own series and parallel circuits.

We planned our own parties, starting with a budget of Β£1000 (imaginary). The children have been learning how to use a spreadsheet to manage calculations and set up formulas. We have a few changes to make to our spreadsheets as circumstances change, building our skills and confidence.

Supporting a good cause through a non-uniform day
Y4B had lots of fun creating our Water Cycle Bags and are planning where to strategically place them in school to investigate the process.
Dropping into MFL lessons this afternoon, it was lovely to see the range of learning activities taking place and how well the children could articulate their learning.
After picking up some basic dribbling techniques, the children were ready to move on to protective dribbling and using their body to create a protective barrier around the ball
Y4B enjoyed creating their own splash of colour with chalk pastels, using a silhouette of arms waving around in celebration.
