Home Learning

Home learning

You can help your child in a number of ways, especially through the creative projects we offer as part of our home learning menu.

Each term your child’s class teacher will send home 8 topic tasks per term, these are all ideas that link to the class topic. Children are given 8 to allow them two weeks to complete each task, they can bring them in to share. It is a lovely way for children to spend time with their families and talk about their learning.

Children also receive spellings and reading home learning weekly linked to their guided reading text in school.

During this period of home learning we have come up with links to resources which may benefit those of you who wish to further your child’s learning. Many of these are fun online resources but it is important for the wellbeing of our children to look at the following information too (We don’t want you cooped up inside at your computers all day).
