Welcome to Herringthorpe Junior School.

We are very proud of our school site and everything that we have to offer our children.

This is the Junction. This is where you will enter school in a morning.
Many of you will also get the opportunity to work in this space in small groups.

We are very fortunate to have an ICT Suite which is equipped with desktop PCs for us to complete our learning on. Many of our ICT lessons take place here so that all children are able to access the suite.

All of our classrooms vary slightly however they are all clean, bright and tidy. Children will have their own desk with space to store their work and learning equipment.
Classrooms have interactive boards to teach with and there are also desktop PCs in each room.
Children will have their own peg which they can hang their coat and PE kit on however please ensure that they are clearly labelled to minimize any confusion.

We are very fortunate to have beautiful grounds to enjoy. We not only have the main Junior playground with many activities for the children to take part in, but we also have the field, the quiet area, the beach and so much more to explore.
