The children, throughout the course of the morning, enjoyed many group games from basketball to egg and spoon, netball to long jump plus many, many more!
Highest scores and team points were added up as the children joined in all the exciting activities!

However there can only be one winner and out of all the 20 teams that took part… one of them managed to gain slightly more points than any of the other teams…
It wasn’t….Brewin’s Bears who came in at an amazing 3rd place… It wasn’t Williams Winners who impressed everyone with their secured 2nd place…
The title, this year, went to the amazing GROOVY GREENWOODS!!!! a massive well done to this team for their fantastic win!!

After all this excitement, the children all settled down to celebrate the sporting awards and achievements being presented by Mrs Fearnley and Miss Tyzack…

Overall the children (and staff!) had such a fun-filled morning that will stay in their memories for a long time.
Working together as a team and promoting good sportsmanship is what school sports days should be about, and that is exactly what the children had the chance to experience today!
A huge thank you to all the parents that came to support your child’s team I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Thank you for all your wonderful comments and support this year, the children really deserve all the praise due to their hard work and commitment. I really enjoy my role as sports coordinator and I am sure next year we will build on what has been the most successful year yet!
