Year 6 WWII Day!

We have had THE most amazing day in Year 6 today; we went back in time to wartime Britain with our own very special WWII Day!

All of the children looked absolutely fantastic in their outfits (thank you grown-ups at home!) and very much enjoyed their war-themed activities.

We have been cooking, designing, calculating in pounds, shillings and pence, writing creatively (and in a 40s style script!) AND we’ve had our very own wartime playtime, both inside with wooden toys and outside with hopscotch, skipping and marbles! What a busy day!

Well done to ALL of the Year 6 children for taking part so wonderfully! We cannot wait to see your outfits again at Eden Camp after Half Term!

Until then, take a look at our day and please leave a comment to let us know what you thought of it …
