Literacy, Numeracy and Science all rolled into one!

Y5 have spent the last week designing and making a moving car. As it was science week we were investigating the different types of forces on the car, such as gravity and friction, and how they were effected on different surfaces. We had to use our numeracy measurement skills to make sure we measured and cut our wood accurately so our car would move in a straight line. Finally, we created a set of instructions on how to make the car so other children could carry out our investigation.IMG_1069.JPG
